What colors say

Red

Love, passion and courage. The classic for romance, and a rich, warm accent in fall and holiday designs.

Pink

Affection, gratitude and joy. Soft pinks feel tender and gentle; hot pinks feel playful. Lovely for birthdays, new babies and thank-yous.

Orange

Energy, enthusiasm and warmth. Great for congratulations, get-well wishes and anything that should feel like a burst of sunshine.

Yellow

Friendship, happiness and new beginnings. Cheerful and bright, a favorite for birthdays, get-well and "just because."

Green

Growth, renewal and balance. Foliage and green flowers make arrangements feel fresh, natural and modern.

Blue and purple

Calm, dignity and admiration. Blues feel peaceful; purples feel elegant. Both are thoughtful choices for sympathy and for someone you admire.

White

Purity, remembrance and new beginnings. Timeless for weddings and sympathy, and crisp and elegant in any setting.

Choosing a palette

Romantic

Blush, soft pink, cream and deep red, often with garden roses and lush, full shapes.

Nurturing

Soft whites, pale greens and gentle pastels. Comforting choices for new babies, recovery and sympathy.

Tranquil

Blues, lavenders and whites with silvery foliage. Calm and restful.

Vibrant

Hot pink, orange, yellow and purple together. Bold, happy and impossible to ignore.

Seasonal

Our designers follow the seasons: fresh pastels in spring, bright mixes in summer, rust, burgundy and gold in fall, and deep reds, whites and evergreens in winter.
